2026 April 25 – May 10 – Yellow Springs Art Show, Chester Springs, PA. Michael was juried into this prestigious art show for life. You can find several of his works in this show. The gallery is open daily 10am-4pm for the duration of the show.
2026 May 23rd – I’ll be an exhibitor with the Providence Artisans Market at Lippitt Memorial Park in Providence, RI from 10am-2pm.
2026 July 11-12 – I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be an exhibitor with at this year’s Wickford Art Festival. The show runs from 9am-4pm each day and is located at Wilson Park in North Kingstown, RI.

March 2025: “Pine Warbler” was a “Artistic Recognition” Award recipient in Art & Color 365’s International 2025 All Animals Art Competition.
Honorable Mention: James's Book of Unscary Monsters
In January, 2025, “James’s Book of Unscary Monsters” received an Honorable Mention Royal Dragonfly Book Award for Children’s Books ages 6 and up. The Royal Dragonfly Book Awards recognize excellence in children’s literature.

2023 June: “The Elegant Peacock,” was an Artistic Recognition Award recipient in Art and Color 365 Magazine’s Wildlife/Animals Competition.

In December, 2021, “Ella Lee in to Catch a Hummingbird” received an Honorable Mention Royal Dragonfly Book Award for Children’s Books ages 6 and up. The Royal Dragonfly Book Awards recognize excellence in children’s literature.

Previous Juried Shows
2026 January – February. “All Media Open Juried 1” at South County Art Association. Michael’s painting, “Moonshot” was accepted into this show.
2025 November. 39th Annual RI Open at Warwick Center for the Arts. Juried accepted works were “October (the Robin)” and “And it’s Ever Present Everywhere.“
2025 April-May. Michael was accepted into the Yellow Springs Art exhibition, located in Chester Springs, PA. He is juried in for life and you can find his work in their gallery for their Annual Art Show, which happens in the April/May timeframe each year.
2024 October. Michael was accepted into the prestigious RISD Craft event and joined 90 other RISD alumni, selling their art on Benefit St. in the heart of RISD’s campus.
2024 September. Point Judith Light in the Summer Breeze was selected as part of Warwick Center for the Arts’ RI Art Educators Exhibit.
2024 June. Part of Group exhibition, “BOOK,” at Deblois Gallery in Newport, RI. Exhibited along with artists Kathy Morton, Manjula Padmanabhan, Bettie Sarantos and Virginia Stone.

2023 March. “Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds in Flowers” was accepted into the Celebrate Spring juried show at Spring Bull Gallery in Newport, RI.

2023 January, “The Swan” was accepted and won 1st place(!) in South County Art Association’s Open Juried All Media Exhibition.
