Shine a Light – Every so often I start a piece that seems to just want to exist – even in the early stages of the painting it looks great. And then I spend all my time just trying not to screw it up – haha. That was definitely the case with my latest painting, “Shine a Light.” Painted from reference photos I took of Gay Head Lighthouse in Martha’s Vineyard back in August, there is just something about this one that I absolutely love.
Painted on stretched upholstery fabric, it measures 23.25″x14.25″ in a handcrafted frame made by yours truly.
