Conimicut Lighthouse – This is my first painting on canvas in about 5 years. Though I don’t intend to stop painting on fabric, the challenges of trying to fight the porous fabric can get frustrating and daunting when busting out the tiny brushes. So it was a nice change of pace to be able to get all the fine details in place on this Warwick, RI lighthouse.
I am doing an art show in Conimicut Village, and as I have never painted the Conimicut Lighthouse, this seemed like the perfect time to sit down and paint it.
The painting is acrylics on canvas panel and measures 9″x12″. It is framed in one of my handcrafted frames which measures 12″x15″.
