Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds in Flowers: After painting many hummingbirds over the last 2 years, I had and idea to do a larger painting featuring multiple hummingbirds. I found the perfect floral tapestry fabric that laid the groundwork for this painting. Ruby-throated hummingbirds are one of the most common kinds of hummingbirds found in New England, so I decided to make them the subjects of the piece. The result is a beautiful trio of hummingbirds floating in a floral sky.

The painting measures 11″x23″ and is acrylic painting on stretched upholstery fabric/tapestry. It is framed in a hand-made wooden frame, wired and ready to hang.
